For months, the internet has been rife with rumors about what the Google I/O conference may reveal. The Google I/O has already began with the kickoff keynote. There are expectations that Adobe, Logitech, Sony, Intel and possibly DISH network could be involved with Google I/O announcements. Technically, the Google I/O conference is intended to be for web developers. It isn’t going to be boring just because of the focus on the technical aspects of the new developments by Google. Google is expected to talk about “Froyo” mobile operating system, or the Android 2.2.

This Google I/O conference is designed to be the beginning of many new technology partnerships. Nothing was confirmed yet despite the fact that there could be numerous possibilities. A potential “Google Tablet” from Acer or any manufacturers may be announced. A new Chrome OS operating system track focuses on the web-based operating system. Enterprise uses for Google Docs, Gmail and the App engine will even be a focus.

One expected announcement of the Google I/O is the focus on a new media. A big announcement that, in contrast to Apple, Google phones will support Flash and HTML5 is going to be the first big star. Second, separate reports from Sony, Google, Logitech and a lot more indicate they could be working on the code-named “Dragonpoint” set-top box. This set-top box could possibly combine online streaming content with television content, turning TV into a more “integrated” experience.
